On December the 31st, I swore the year to come would be one of dreams fulfilled. I raised my glass, exchanged hugs and kisses... and went about life as usual.

But boy how things have changed.

Since that final day of Twenty Ten, my little life has been one good thing after another. A tidbit of good news here, a HUGE breakthrough there, and next thing you know i'm seated in my car completely and utterly overwhelmed by all this.. good. My heart is full to bursting with every happy feeling imaginable, and I'm crying and laughing all at the same time.

I know I said this was going to be the year, but goodness Twenty Eleven.. don't you think you're showing off just a little bit?

For the sake of brevity (under the false pretense of humility, justified by the need for privacy - this is the internet after all..), I will refrain from the details and leave you instead with this:

We adopted two kittens! They are playful and friendly and cuddly and adorable and are always making us laugh. A definite improvement on our lives :)
