i’ve always been a Barnes & Noble girl myself but i am still completely devastated that Borders is closing. doesn’t anyone buy books anymore??? i will admit how old-fashioned this must seem but… there’s just something to be said for reading an actual book (none of this e-reader nonsense for me, sir) - it’s weight, the subtle deformities of ink in the form of letters and punctuation, the smell of the pages…. not to mention, the feeling of pride and joy i get from walking out of a bookstore, rushing home, and pulling out the newest addition to my growing book collection - my newest friend, my newest solace, my newest adventure…

Barnes & Noble better never close. or i just might die.
